When you watch television, do you think to yourself, ‘I could have played that character!’? Well, NOW YOU CAN! In our Tween Comedic Bootcamp, actors perform scenes from some of their favorite popular tv shows on networks like Disney and Nickelodeon. Work on your comedic skills and learn to commit to your physical choices. Through improvisation and scene work, kids will improve upon skills such as character development, making distinct character choices, partner interaction, and comedic timing.

One of Denise’s most popular programs is the week-long Summer Intensive class. Kids are taught the performance Triple Threat: acting, voice & dance. Each program features master teachers with expertise in one of these area. Students also perform in a  cabaret setting and work with a professional casting director during the week.

The Young Actors' Summer Film Experience Online: July. SOLD OUT

Students will work on two original contrasting scenes written specifically for them while learning to create compelling performing and audition skills that showcase their strengths as actors in both drama and comedy. Using the Meisner acting approach, students will learn how to transition from theatre to film truthfully through exercises, powerful questioning, memorization techniques, and partner work. Students will also learn film/tv set etiquette and what to expect in a professional audition room.
