HOSTING & PODCASTING

It's never too early to develop good hosting skills

Have your own idea for a podcast, YouTube video, or social media content? Want to become a stronger and more dynamic host?

Each student should come to class with an idea for what they'd want to talk about on a podcast or video. The more niche, the better! There's a lot of content out there, so the best way for you to stand out is to be your authentic self, talking about the things that you love! In this virtual workshop, each student will pitch Mark their ideas for their own show, and Mark will offer feedback, structure, and best practices. Students will each practice their host intro and outro, and also their interviewing skills with the instructor and with each other. Mark will also offer tips on the best home equipment and best steps for success. This is perfect for commercial and improv actors, or for anyone who wants to just be themselves in front of an audience.
