What is REELARC

REELARC is the premier company in demo reel creation. They help emerging actors showcase their talent regardless of experience on a resume. REELARC’s clients have landed roles on Law & Order: SVU, Silicon Valley, FBI, and more. They have a spacious studio in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Guy Chachkes and the REELARC team take you ON SET with an expertly crafted course where you can learn how to make your own Dramatic REELARC scene with the equipment you already own. Guy will show you what works and what doesn’t work by revealing REELARC’S practices and techniques in ACTION so you can follow step-by-step to shoot your own scene. Guy has developed a unique stye for teaching filmmaking to actors. He pulls upon his years of experience in the industry and shooting over 5,000 scenes for clients from NYC to LA. He’s created an approach that focuses on the sole purpose of getting the job done as quickly and effectively as possible, without sacrificing quality, so you can film the footage you desperately need for your demo reel as soon as today!

See what students are saying…

Last summer I did the Young Actors Film Experience with Denise Simon and REELARC.  It was so much fun and I really loved my scene. I was able to use the footage which  helped me land a great talent manager. The quality of the scene was first class. Highly recommend it!

“I had a blast working with Denise & the REELARC team during the Young Actors  Film Experience. My  reel turned out great and I learned  a lot about being on set along the way! This experience allowed me to grow a lot personally and professionally.”

-Eva

I have been studying acting with Denise for about 7 years and enjoy it so much! She is an amazing coach who challenges me to stretch outside of my comfort zones and is always supportive and reassuring. I have grown so much as an actor because of her guidance and approach. One of my favorite programs is Denise’s Young Actors Film Experience which involves scene work, technique and, ultimately, a professional demo reel. This program also provides opportunities to learn about production while assisting the crew with cameras, lighting, and audio for the actual filming. I’ve taken this program multiple times and every single time I learn something new. Even better, through this program, I have met and worked with so many talented students and scene partners who have become great friends. I am grateful to Denise, Reelarc and this program for inspiring me and opening new doors.

-Sienna

Being part of Denise Simon’s Young Actor’s Film Experience (YAFE) in partnership with Reel Arc NYC is an experience I would recommend to any young actor.
One of the standout aspects of the program is how it is focused not only on acting but rather the entire creative procedure. In addition to the 1:1 time with Denise, I was encouraged to contribute to the writing which allowed me to really hone my skills in character development. The Reel Arc team also provides their expertise and guidance pertaining to the production process. This holistic approach to learning allowed me to have a deeper understanding of the storytelling aspect and to really bring my characters to life on the screen.
Denise creates a professional, safe and fun environment.  The atmosphere is one where creativity can grow, and students can explore their talents without fear. I am proud to say that I have developed some amazing friendships which formed through the shared challenges and support that transpired during the program.
The work I created as part of this program caught the attention of industry professionals and ultimately led to my securing management!
I highly recommend the Young Actors Film Experience to any young actor who is interested in seeing where their journey will take them.
